This is a prototype event and will be held similar to a group ride, with minimal support and infrastructure during the event. No timing or marking will be on course.

North Bound-100K -1138 M

This course is fast and the gravel is smooth. You will travel from Sea to Highland, returning on a downhill though a lovely valley.

Svinavatn-60K

(pronounced : svinawatn)

This short loop will give any rider a taste of the landscape and culture, leaving you time for other sightseeing and cultural activities.

E-Bikes are welcome on this route

9 AM 110 Ride Starts in Blondous

9 AM 60 K Ride Start in Blönduós

Finish Party at Hunaver 2 pm - 9 pm 

Sunday 2- August

Optional tour to Hveravellir hot spring and geyser.

What to Expect

• No official timing or finisher metal

• No course markings, so it is essential that everyone downloads the GPS route before the ride.

• 60K Route . or 110K Route

• We encourage riders to stay together, enjoy the incredible scenery, and meet new friends along the way.

• We are working with the local community to provide a food and water stop, but you should plan to be largely self-supported.

What We'll Provide

• A support vehicle stationed approximately halfway through the route that can carry your extra food and water.

• A post-ride gathering with hot dogs on the grill and beer from RVK Brewing at Hunaver.

• One of Iceland's best gravel routes—and great vibes all around.
